As we all know the foamposites have been a huge success this year with the copper and eggplants which featured vibrant uppers that were instant head-turners. But this summer Nike has decided to release some less vibrant Foampostes which have a dark graphite colored upper that doesn't demand the attention like the copper and eggplant counterparts. But its when we move down to the midsole that give the shoe its appeal with the translucent sole that is now a deep red color giving it the name "Cough Drop" Foamposites. Personally I would pass on these and wait until they retro the Metallic Blue foams. Tell me what you think bout em'...

Nike Sportswear has recently been collabing with the company F.C.R.B. Earlier this year they dropped the limited Lunar Rejuven8 Mid in a super dope olive color way but it seems as if they've outdone themselves with this new release of Lunar Rejuven8 in a 2 camo color ways, one a black camo and the other a light desert camo leaving both mid soles in a clean white that even if it gets dirty will still look pretty f'ing dope. On to the best part, the Freshness x NIKEiD Canvas Contest invites all to create your own art for the canvas Sweet Classic High. To enter the competition, you can either upload your own artwork to the Freshness x NIKEiD Canvas Contest microsite, or use the tools from the Canvas artbox available on the site. The participation process and use of Canvas artbox tools are very comprehensive and accessible.

This year Reebok will release the newly designed INSTA Pump Fury... The Shoe Game (TSG) previewed them last year in October and i still cant get over how FRESH these really are! If you know what the original INSTA Pump looks like then you can see some of the drastic changes that the shoe has taken. NEWARK -- A racy billboard showing a kneeling woman pulling down a man’s designer jeans will be removed from one of Newark’s busiest intersections, a company spokeswoman said today.

The ad for AKOO, a clothing company owned by the rapper T.I., has been turning heads at the corner of Market and Washington streets. The billboard shows a kneeling woman looking at the camera as her head rests against his unbuckled jeans.

Tonight, CBS Outdoor, the New York billboard company, issued a statement to the Associated Press saying the ad would be taken down soon in response to complaints from Newark residents. No exact date for the removal was given.

Taking a look at a pretty dope photographer that didn't own a camera before he started shooting big time. Tyler Shields has done photographs for many A-list celebrities as well as his own artistic works. Tyler brings something new and very risky some would say, to the world of portrait and still-life photography, but to be a 28 year old who started directing music videos and had no training in photography at all, I'd say he's just naturally gifted. It goes to show that you should never limit yourself to anything, try something different and you may be surprised at what you become great at.

To celebrate the 2009 Nike Future Sole Design Competition, Jordan Brand created a limited run of these Air Jordan 1 Retro High’s for a small group of lucky people. The colorway is simple at first glance, White, Black, and Red, but upon further inspection you’ll notice that reflective hits have been added to the overlays on the upper to give the shoe some added flavor. Additionally one the Future Sole logo is screened onto the heel of the shoe. These will not be hitting retail from the looks of things, so your best bet to find a pair is to start looking on ebay. -Source

The other day I mentioned the Stussy x Stones Throw Records tee honoring the late J-Dilla. Well, now the two companies have gone a step further and are now marking February 13th as "Dilla Day." Stussy stores across the nation (LA, DC, Las Vegas & New York) will have special events going on throughout the day on Saturday. If you're in the area, stop by the store and check out some of the events. The commemorative tee will be available on Saturday as well.

Brand Jordan has officially fulfilled all sneaker heads dreams with this one. No more Rumors....it's fact that their will be a return of the "Cool Grey XI's". It's original 2001 release sparked a lot of uproar, with it's rare butter leather material and all grey coloring, Jordan fans went crazy over the sleeker look. They also caused controversy because alot of thefts and assaults took place over the sneakers. When they drop this year we're not sure what to expect as far as controversy, but we are sure there will be craaaaaaaazy lines just like last time. The release date is set to be during the The Thanksgiving holiday season this year. Make sure you stay tuned and try not to sleep on these.
